Blue Origin's Latest New Shepard Failed To Launch

JAKARTA NS-27, the second New Shepard to be boarded by humans, was supposed to be launched on Monday, October 7th. The aircraft is scheduled to fly at 20.00 WIB, but the schedule has been postponed until it is finally postponed.

Initially, the launch window had not changed yet. However, nearly half an hour before launch, Blue Origin said that the launch window would turn to 23.10 WIB. The company did not explain why the launch window changed.

On its official website, the company says that it is working on a count-down procedure according to the set launch time. They also prepare a webcast or web broadcast to start 15 minutes before takeoff.

Less than an hour before New Shepard was flown, Blue Origin said that they would open the window faster, namely at 23.00 WIB. No preparations have changed and Blue Origin has carried out the final check.

"New Shepard is undergoing final inspection before today's unmanned verification flight. Our (launch window) is slightly ahead of schedule," Blue Origin said, via its official account on platform X.

One hour later, there was no news of a launch from Blue Origin on its official website. In fact, the latest New Shepard launch schedule has been passed. Apparently, this plane was canceled due to problems with the vehicle.

"We are discontinuing today's launch attempt to solve the vehicle problem that will get us past the launch deadline. A new launch target will be coming soon," said Blue Origin. The company has not yet explained what kind of problems they are facing.
