Ni Luh, A Woman From Bali Admits The Situation In Lebanon Stabbed, The Sound Of The Explosion That Made Her Want To Go Home

TANGERANG - As many as 20 Indonesian citizens (WNI) arrived in Indonesia via Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang City. They were evacuated due to the increasingly heated war in the Middle East.

One of the migrant workers from Bali who works in Lebanon, Ni Luh Suwaradi, revealed the reason for returning to Indonesia because Lebanon is no longer safe.

"I made the decision to go home because the situation was not safe," said Ni Luh at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang City, Monday, October 7.

Ni Luh said that she lives in the Hassan Beer area, Beirut, where the place often heard explosions due to the war.

"The incident happened on the 27th, when I was working, I heard a voice. Then, I told the boss directly that I was going home," he said.

Ni Luh said, the process of returning to Indonesia had to go through a long journey.

"My experience from Lebanon towards Syria is very tiring, long. Three hours from the Syrian border to the Indonesian Embassy," he concluded.

Previously, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) said that the evacuation process for 40 Indonesian citizens (WNI) and one Foreign Citizen (WNA) from Lebanon went safely and smoothly to the country.

Director of Protection for Indonesian Citizens and Indonesian Legal Entities (BHI) Judha Nugraha said that in the evacuation stage for the return of 40 Indonesian citizens consisted of 38 adults, and two children.

"In addition, there is one foreigner from Lebanon, who is the wife of one of our Indonesian citizens who came home," he said

He explained that dozens of Indonesian citizens who entered the fifth wave at the evacuation stage from Jordan consisted of two flying groups (cluters).

For the first group, he said, consisting of 20 Indonesian citizens and one foreigner had traveled from Amman, Jordan, using Qatar Airways QR967 with arrival at 07.49 WIB.
