Jokowi Waits For The Invitation Of The Head Of OIKN To Groundbreaking

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo expressed his readiness to groundbreaking or laying the first stone again in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) if there was an invitation from the Head of the IKN Authority.

"Yes, it's up to the Chief of OIKN, if there is, I will come again," said the President, ANTARA, Sunday, October 6.

He asked reporters to ask whether there was a groundbreaking, including who the investors were to the Head of OIKN.

"Yes, I asked the head of OIKN," said Jokowi.

Separately, the Acting Head of OIKN and Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono said that on October 10 or 11, 2024, the President is planned to return to IKN for the inauguration of the PSSI training center.

According to Basuki, his party will seek to have a groundbreaking on the sidelines of the inauguration activities later.

"Now it is being finalized everywhere that is ready to be grounded," said Basuki.

He said that so far investment in IKN for non-APBN has reached IDR 58.4 trillion.

According to Basuki, the government has opened all investment sectors to enter, especially logistics to encourage crowds.

As for the construction of housing for the state civil apparatus (ASN), Basuki said that at the end of October there would be 13 towers ready to be inhabited.
