Gemini-backed QnA Gmail Feature Now Available For IOS Users

JAKARTA - Google announced that it has now launched a Qna feature that allows Gmail users on iOS to ask Gemini questions directly.

Earlier last month, Google had launched the same feature on Android devices. And now, Gmail users on iOS will also have the same opportunity.

Gmail's (QnA) Answer with Gemini will be able to answer all user questions about email, such as, "How much did the company spend on the last marketing event?"

In addition, you can also ask Gemini to display unread emails, summarize emails about a topic in the inbox, and even answer general questions from the search.

For example, you can state things like "Tell me all emails about quarterly planning," and other questions.

We are delighted to be able to help users increase their productivity with Gemini's help in Gmail. Now users have more ability than Gemini to help them complete more work on desks and while traveling," Google wrote in an announcement on its aid page quoted Sunday, October 6.

Now, Gemini in Gmail is available on iOS for Google One AI Premium subscribers or Google Workspace accounts with add-on Gemini Business, Enterprise, Education, or Premium Education.

Google says that for starters, Q&A Gmail can find information from your inbox, but in the future, it will also be able to find information from your Drive.
