Dedi Mulyadi: Waste Management In West Java Is Never Completed, Theory Never Executes
JAKARTA - West Java requires five Waste Power Plants (National Power Plants) as a solution in waste management. The sentence was conveyed by the candidate for Governor (cagub) of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi. According to him, the Waste PLT must be established in five former employees in West Java.
"Priorities in five former employees, in Cirebon, Purwasuka plus Bekasi, Bogor Raya plus Cianjur, Greater Bandung, and East Priangan," said Dedi, ANTARA, Sunday, October 6.
Dedi revealed, indeed in realizing this Waste PLT, there will be challenges faced, including environmental groups, whose key is to dare to execute by following the grand design.
"We have to read the grand design (big design). We have to dare to execute it as a solution, don't talk about garbage every year, it's never finished," he said.
The waste problem is also not solved, according to Dedi, because the system is ineffective, such as organic sorting has started from home and entering into separate trash cans, but when transported using the same car.
Then, during the recycling process, the results are like pellets that can be used for agriculture, but facilities that are not slightly managed independently by the community, many are out of business because their goods are not selling well.

"Why? Because our public awareness has not yet been built and has not been connected," he said.
"Then it must also be integrated, for example, if organic to become organic fertilizer, agriculture must be required to use it. If the country's inorganics buys. Now the country doesn't buy. This is what must understand how to manage. Because talking about theory, it's difficult. If you don't understand how to execute," he said.
For funding, Dedi said it could be through the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD), as well as private support.
"Our APBD is sufficient, sir, if you want to wake up, if it's efficiency, rather than improper spending. You can also do it from the start if we want to manage properly, this financial budget buys whatever you can afford," he said.
