35-year-old Man Falls From The 15th Floor Of Gading Nias Apartment

JAKARTA - Kelapa Gading Sector Police (Polsek), North Jakarta investigated the case of a man with the initials EF (35) who died after falling from the 15th floor of Gading Nias Apartment, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Saturday afternoon, October 5.

Kelapa Gading Police Chief Kompol Maulana Mukarom has not been able to explain in detail the incident. A number of witnesses are still being questioned at the Kelapa Gading Police.

"We cannot confirm whether the victim died as a result of suicide or what it looks like because it is still in the process of being investigated," said Kelapa Gading Police Chief Kompol Maulana Mukarom, quoted from ANTARA, Sunday, October 6.

He said the dead victim allegedly fell from the top of the apartment and officers were investigating the scene.

In addition, the officers also asked for statements from a number of witnesses to find out why the victim fell from the apartment.

"We have examined five witnesses. Witnesses from the family and people who first saw the victim fall," he said.

Meanwhile, the victim's body has been taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for a post-mortem to find out more about the cause of death.

"The body is in the Police Hospital having an external post-mortem," he said.

Previously, the EF victim died after falling from the 15th floor of an apartment in Gading Nias Kelapa Gading and causing the occupants of the apartment to come out to the location of the victim's body.

The police who came to the location immediately processed the crime scene and put up a police line at the scene.
