Drug Dealer In Matraman Arrested In Kayumanis Boarding House, 1.7 Kg Of Shabu Secured
Police officers from the Pulogadung Police have arrested a man from Lampung with the initials AS (24) for possession of 1.7 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine (Kg) in his boarding house in Kayumanis, Matraman District, East Jakarta.
"An arrest has been made of a drug dealer or courier, in which he was arrested while the suspect was at his boarding house," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Nicolas Ary Lilipaly, ANTARA, Friday, October 4.
The perpetrator, who is known to be a recidivist in the theft case, was arrested by the Pulogadung Police Criminal Investigation Team in the Matraman area, on Wednesday, September 18 after distributing methamphetamine in a small package measuring 100 grams.
Based on an interim investigation, the US suspect came to Jakarta because he was asked by a drug dealer with the initials M whose whereabouts were unknown.
"They only communicate via cell phone and the evidence is pasted or placed and the buyer comes to pick it up according to directions from the dealer," said Nicolas.
With the same system, by telephone, the US suspect was asked to take methamphetamine in the Sawangan area, Depok, according to the instructions of dealer M.

"This is the second incident carried out by the US, for the first time taking 1 kilogram and having been circulated with a salary of Rp. 10 million. Then, the US suspect took 2 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine in the Depok area," he explained.
The evidence that was secured was in the form of 1.7 kg of methamphetamine, of which 1 kg was still intact in plastic, while another 1 kg had been broken down into a small package measuring 100 grams.
"Some small packages were consumed by US suspects," he said.
US suspects detained at the Pulogadung Police Headquarters are subject to Article 114 and Article 112 Paragraph 2 of Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a minimum penalty of 6 years in prison and a maximum sentence of death.
