PDIP Ensures Megawati And Prabowo's Meeting Will Not Discuss The Coalition

Chairman of the PDIP DPP Said Abdullah confirmed that the meeting of the PDIP General Chairperson and Gerindra General Chair and President-elect Prabowo Subianto would not discuss the coalition. The second meeting is planned to take place before Prabowo is sworn in as the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia on October 20.

"The matter of the coalition will definitely not be discussed, because the meeting was not a transactional meeting, joined not to join, but to a meeting of fellow compatriots," said Said, Thursday, October 3.

According to Said, Megawati and Prabowo will exchange ideas as leaders of the nation. Where Megawati is the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia.

"First, of course, I changed my mind because Mega's mother, vice president, president too. Mr. Prabowo will hold the presidency for the next 5 years," said this member of the DPR.

Meanwhile, regarding the location of the meeting, Said was reluctant to divulge. However, he said the meeting venues would be very historic for Prabowo and Megawati.

"The place is the best, believe me, a sacred place and for both of them it is a place that has extraordinary memory. So that Mr. Prabowo-Megawati meets him in a relaxed, memorable atmosphere," said Said.

When asked about the information that PDIP sent its cadres to sit in the Prabowo government cabinet, Said denied it. He said there had been no discussion and orders from the general chairman.

"Not at all, both Mr. BG (Budi Gunawan), both Mr. Olly (Dondokambey), Mr. (Azwar) Anas, there is no internal discussion of the party and there is no instruction from the ketum mother. We are all waiting straight for whatever orders are conveyed by the general chairman," said Said.
