Pramono Is Still Thinking About Continuing The DP House Program Rp0 Anies Era
JAKARTA - Candidate for Governor of Jakarta number 3 Pramono Anung admitted that he was still thinking about continuing the Rp0 DP house program which Anies Baswedan had run while serving as Governor of DKI Jakarta for the 2017-2022 period.
Pramono admitted that he and Rano Karno and the winning team also reviewed programs to meet the existing housing needs of residents, both by Anies and Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok).
"The mechanism or way with the Rp0 DP was initiated by Mas Anies or by means of the flats carried out by Pak Ahok, it must be studied. The most important thing is that it can be utilized properly for underprivileged residents," said Pramono in Cakung, East Jakarta, Thursday, October 3.
Pramono realized that the flats program such as the Rp0 DP house is not easy to run. This is because not all residents can get housing loans facilitated by banks.
During Anies Baswedan's leadership, the target of the Rp0 DP housing unit inhabited by residents was not achieved. Mostly, the application for a home ownership loan of DP of Rp. 0 residents was rejected because they did not pass bank verification.
"We study that, but it's not easy. What's easy is that there must still be banking that enters but the interest rate is very small. Because, if interest rates are normal, it's a pity for residents," explained Pramono.
Therefore, Pramono discussed the procurement of rental housing for people on government-owned buildings, such as markets to sub-district offices.

In addition to housing, Pramono also plans to build creative spaces for young groups in the same building as these residences.
"Then one day, sub-district offices, sub-districts and other facilities, including health centers, are the most important, not reducing the function of the office. So it can be raised above, for example, floors 1, 2 and 3 to sub-district offices, while 4, 5 to become a creative hub place, so that young people have a place to work, innovate and so on and (on) 6 and above become a residence," explained Pramono.
Pramono assessed that the DKI Provincial Government really needs to innovate in meeting residential needs for Jakarta residents. This is because the limited vacant land in Jakarta makes land prices even more expensive.
This also makes it increasingly difficult for people to get affordable housing based on their economic conditions. Thus, the addition of the floor of government buildings that are used as housing needs to be considered.
"Indeed, for Jakarta, because the land is so expensive, there must be a breakthrough. The breakthrough is not only the market, which is increased to a residential house," he added.
