Hezbollah Destroys 3 Israeli Tanks With Rockets, Attacks On Beirut Thursday Morning Kills 6 People
JAKARTA - Israel bombed the center of Beirut Lebanon on Thursday morning and killed six people. While Hezbollah claimed to destroy 3 Israeli military tanks.
Israel said it carried out airstrikes right in Beirut, Thursday, October 3. Witnesses Reuters reported hearing a major explosion.
Security sources said the explosion targeted buildings in the Bahoura neighborhood in Beirut close to parliament.
It was reported that six people were killed and seven others injured, Lebanese health officials said.
Photos circulating in Lebanese WhatsApp group, which Reuters could not immediately verify, showed buildings heavily damaged with the first floor on fire.
Three missiles also hit the southern suburbs of Dahiyeh, where Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed last week, and a loud explosion was heard.
The southern suburbs were targeted by more than a dozen Israeli attacks on Wednesday, October 2.
Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are urging villagers in Lebanon who have fled their homes not to return until further notice.
A day after Iran fired more than 180 missiles at Israel, Israel said on Wednesday, October 2, eight soldiers were killed in land fighting in southern Lebanon when its troops invaded its neighboring northern state.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a video of his condolences, said, "we are at the height of a difficult war against Iran's evil axis, which wants to destroy us. This will not happen because we will stand together and with God's help we will win together," he said.
