The IAI West Jakarta Office Was Demonstrated By Dozens Of Masses In The Aftermath Of A Blue Scincare In The Online Market

JAKARTA - A number of mass groups held a demonstration in front of the central management office of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI), West Jakarta. The demonstration was the aftermath of the rampant circulation of blue athletes suspected of not meeting applicable standards and being sold in public places, such as malls and grocery stores.

"Blue tickets should not be underestimated. This is a marker of a drug that should only be prescribed by doctors and mixed by pharmacists," said action orator of the Perisai management, M. Hapi, to reporters, Wednesday, October 2.

M. Hapi highlighted the importance of medical professional involvement in this process. According to him, blue etiquette refers to external drugs such as exhausts and creams that can only be used after consultations with doctors.

Hapi said, blue tiered skincare is an official medicine that must meet a number of requirements including a doctor's prescription because this concoction drug can only be prescribed by a doctor according to the patient's health condition.

Then, the treatment by pharmacist. The prescribed drug must be mixed by licensed pharmacists. Furthermore, the distribution process must go through an official pharmacy.

"Because referring to the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 36 of 2009 concerning Health, Article 196 and Article 197 regulate sanctions for those who intentionally produce or distribute pharmaceutical products that do not meet standards," he said.

This violation, he continued, could result in a prison sentence of up to 15 years and a fine of Rp. 1.5 billion.

Meanwhile, in another speech, the Head of the Legal and Human Rights Division, Mansyur, said that this demonstration was carried out in an effort to protect consumers.

"We ask BPOM and law enforcement officials to eradicate the cosmetic mafia that sells blue tiered skincare without a doctor's prescription. Request strict law enforcement against the sale of blue-ethicked creams," he said.
