Baby Wrapped In Cloth At Pulogebang Terminal Taken To Cipayung Toddlers
JAKARTA - A baby boy who was found at the Pulogebang Integrated Terminal, Cakung District, East Jakarta, was finally handed over to the Cipayung Toddler Panti, East Jakarta on Tuesday, October 1.
Head of the East Jakarta Rapid Response Team (TRC), Supervision and Social Control (P3S), Kurniawan said, the baby was referred to an orphanage after undergoing a health check at the Duren Sawit Regional Special Hospital (RSKD).
"We referred to the Cipayung toddler home. Referred after being treated at the Duren Sawit Army Hospital, to check his condition," he said when confirmed, Tuesday, October 1.
Health checks are carried out to determine the health condition of the baby. Because initially it was handed over to the social service, there was a speck on his face.
Previously, it was reported that a number of visitors to Pulogebang Terminal, Cakung District, East Jakarta, were shocked by the discovery of a baby boy who was still alive. The baby is strongly suspected of being dumped by his mother.

The baby was then reported to social workers by the police for evacuation. East Jakarta Social Service Sub-dept. officers who came to the location immediately evacuated the innocent baby.
East Jakarta Sub-dept. Team Commander of the Rapid Response Team (TRC), Kurniawan Muhammad, said the discovery incident began when an unknown person was entrusted to the baby.
"So initially according to witness testimony, the baby's mother, the reason she kept waiting for a long time, didn't come back," said Kurniawan when contacted, Monday, September 30.
In fact, it was notified via the Pulogebang terminal's information speaker but to no avail. Suspicious with this, then reported to the Pulogebang Terminal officers, Cakung Police to the social Sudin.
