Encourage Sustainable Innovation, GoTo Impact Foundation Holds Peak Event For CCE 3.0
JAKARTA The GoTo Impact Foundation (GIF), an independent non-profit organization founded by Gojek, again held a GIF Innovation Day on Tuesday, October 1. This event was held to produce the latest innovations.
GIF Innovation Day 2024 is the highlight of the Catalyst Changemekers Ecosystem (CCE) program to review various innovations that Indonesia needs. Through this event, GIF wants to play an active role in overcoming climate, environmental, and digital inequalities.
Monica Oudang, Chair of the GoTo Impact Foundation, explained that GIF is designed as a place to accelerate the birth of innovation through the merger of technology and local wisdom. This innovation was developed through a sustainable multi-sector collaboration.
"When we collaborate with changemakers and see firsthand the problems in society, we see an urgent need to instill an innovation culture in individual carriers of change," Monica said at the 2024 GIF Innovation Day event.
This year, GIF Innovation Day carries the theme 'Implementing the Spirit of Innovation in the Archipelago'. During the event, GIF focused on discussing the culture of innovation, the use of technology, economic models of social initiatives, to local wisdom in the process.
GIF Innovation Day 2024 also held panel discussions, networking sessions, exhibitions, as well as presentations from the grand final CCE 3.0. The last stage of CCE 3.0 presents eight consortium changemakers who have compiled ideas and prototypes for two months.
