Eko Patrio Officially Appointed As Secretary General Of PAN

JAKARTA - Former Chairman of the DPW PAN Jakarta, Eko Hendro Purnomo or Eko Patrio was officially appointed as Secretary General (Secretary General of the National Mandate Party (PAN), just replaced Eddy Soeparno.

The appointment of Eko as Secretary General of PAN has also been confirmed by the General Chair of PAN, Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas).

"That's right," said Zulhas, confirmed on Monday, September 30.

Eko Patrio is a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the PAN faction for the 2019-2024 period. Eko, who is also an artist, again qualified for Senayan for the 2024-2029 period.

PAN politician Zita Anjani said that Eko's appointment as Secretary General was not reckless. According to him, Eko is a hard worker as well as an example of a successful artist in the world of politics.

"He is a hard worker, his creativity is power. No wonder he was elected to the DPR for 4 consecutive terms, not from the same electoral district, but from changing electoral districts, meaning that he has the capacity and his performance is considered good by the community," he said.

Apart from being experienced in the DPR, said Zita, Eko is also experienced in managing the party engine by becoming the Chair of the DPW PAN Jakarta for two terms.

"He is also Zita Anjani's mentor, a mentor for young people in PAN, especially celebrities, so he is very worthy," he said.

"Congratulations on working Secretary General Eko. A real example of an artist who successfully serves as a politician," concluded Zita.
