Latest HomePod Leaks, Apple Will Add Interactive Screen And Apple Intelligence

JAKARTA Apple continues to update HomePod, speakers equipped with Siri assistants. Since the device was released in 2018, this device has continued to improve, both in terms of design and features.

Apparently, Apple will add big changes next year. According to a Bloomberg report, the company is developing two HomePod versions equipped with screens and advanced features from Apple Intelligence.

The latest generation homePod is divided into two. The first version with the code J490 uses a lower class screen type, while the second version with the code J595 is made more sophisticated by including a robotic arm and a larger screen size.

With the addition of Apple Intelligence to the device, Apple needs to develop a special operating system (OS) for HomePod. Therefore, Apple will also introduce a new OS named homeOS for the next generation HomePod.

In fact, homeOS is only a name created for OS HomePod because of the fact that this OS comes from tvOS. Apple deliberately uses the system for smart TV because they want to combine the functions of their HomePod and smart TV.

Meanwhile, HomePod with a lower class screen is rumored to be equipped with an A18 chipset so that Apple can enter Apple Intelligence. This device will use a square screen equipped with a camera so that users can do FaceTime.

Lower-end smart screens will also be equipped with several applications such as Calendar, Note, and Home. There is no more detailed specification information regarding the upper class HomePod. However, specifications in the lower class will definitely be found in the more expensive version.
