RK Wants To Empower Retired ASN Green Jakarta, Pramono Anung: Everyone Must Be Involved
JAKARTA - Candidate for Governor of Jakarta number 3 Pramono Anung responded to the idea of a candidate for Governor of Jakarta number 1 Ridwan Kamil who wanted to empower retired state civil servants (ASN) to green Jakarta.
According to Pramono, development programs such as reforestation can involve everyone, not only retired ASN.
"We open the widest possible space for everyone to participate, not only civil servants. But we open up a participating room to build Jakarta. Because Jakarta belongs to us together," said Pramono at his residence, Kemang, South Jakarta, Friday, September 27.
Pramono assessed that the transfer of the capital city from Jakarta to the archipelago, East Kalimantan, did not make Jakarta lose its position as the epicenter of urban development.
In fact, Jakarta's plan is now a global city and at the same time the center of the national economy, according to Pramono, Jakarta in the next few years remains the main epicenter of Indonesian politics. Thus, city development needs to be done together.
"Because the moving of the capital city, although it has now started, the DPR, MPR, DPD and all the party DPP headquarters are still in Jakarta. So that the political epicenter must still be in Jakarta. And that's what is then of course not only ASN, everyone must be involved," explained Pramono.
Previously, RK admitted that it would empower ASN retirees in carrying out Jakarta's greening program. Because they are considered to have experience.
"Building Jakarta can only be done together. These retired civil servants are very experienced in managing Jakarta. Thank God they are enthusiastic about helping," said Ridwan Kamil after discussions with retired Jakarta civil servants at the Ambhara Hotel, South Jakarta, Thursday, September 26.

The Environmental Program prepared by the pair of Governor and Deputy Governor Ridwan Kamil-Suswono aims to create a greener, healthier, and inclusive Jakarta.
The program has three main pillars, namely reducing pollution, adding and revitalizing green open spaces and public spaces, as well as green roofing policies.
According to him, retired Jakarta Provincial Government ASNs can assist in the socialization stage of programs related to green roof policies.
Through this policy, it is hoped that buildings in Jakarta can use the roof as a green space to increase carbon dioxide absorption and reduce city temperature.
"I asked retirees from civil servants whether they want to be active in helping because we are in principle DKI: Decentralization, Collaboration, and Innovation, so for example they participate in socializing the elimination of land. We welcome them," said Ridwan Kamil.
