Chairman Of The DKPP Curhat Wants To Have A Representative Office In The Regions

BOGOR - Chairman of the Honorary Council of Election Organizers (DKPP) Heddy Lugito said that his party wanted to have a representative office in each province. He said this wish had been submitted to the government.

"Our dream is to have a DKPP representative office and we have submitted it to the government and the process is still at the PANRB Ministry," Heddy told reporters in Bogor, West Java, quoted on Friday, September 27.

Heddy said that currently DKPP only proposes representative offices in the eastern, central and western regions. But, in the future, this institution hopes to have representatives in every province.

Meanwhile, on a separate occasion, Heddy said that DKPP needs to have representative offices in the Papua, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, and Sumatra areas. There are at least a number of considerations, one of which is geographical issues.

"Our brothers and sisters in Papua have to complain very far to Jakarta," he said.

"But the next development, if you look at the handling of cases, is that there are many, yes, we must be present in every province and... must be accommodated through the law. If the law does not accommodate, yes, it can't," concluded Heddy.
