Getting New Instructions For The Existence Of Harun Masiku, The KPK Continues To Development
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said the search for his fugitive, Harun Masiku, was continuing. Investigators developed new clues found in the car of the suspected briber, former KPU commissioner Wahyu Setiawan.
"We have found that there are indeed several documents and indeed there are new clues that we have found related to the HM case. This is what we are developing," said KPK Investigation Director Asep Guntur Rahayu to reporters quoted on Friday, September 27.
As for the findings of Harun's car, Asep was called by investigators last July. "So we just found the car in those months," he said.
In the future, Asep ensures that investigators continue to look for Harun. The public can help the anti-corruption commission by reporting if they know of its whereabouts.
"Please convey us and we will follow up on the whereabouts of the person concerned because we also want to arrest Harun as soon as possible," he said.
"And maybe our HM brothers watched it, yes, just get on with it (submitting himself, ed) because what is related to him is like brother W from the KPU and others that have finished carrying out their sentences. They have become free people," said Asep.

As previously reported, Harun Masiku has now been a fugitive for four years or since 2020. This escape was carried out after being named a suspect in the bribery of former KPU Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan to serve as a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives through the interim replacement mechanism (PAW).
As for this bribery case, the anti-corruption commission asked the Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) to prevent five people from leaving the country. One of them is the staff of the Secretary General of PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto, Kusnadi.
