Jokowi Groundbreaking Project Residential Resort At IKN, Investment Value Of IDR 300 Billion

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated the groundbreaking of the Badminton Resort Nusantara residential project in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan, today.

In his remarks, Jokowi said that the investment disbursed by Russian investor

"Today we are groundbreaking for the construction of the Nusantara drama, an exclusive luxury residence built with an investment of approximately Rp. 300 billion," Jokowi said as seen on the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube, Wednesday, September 25.

Jokowi said the luxury resort would be built on an area of 1.3 hectares (ha).

The construction of this resort is expected to provide more quality property options for the community.

"The presence of theiri Resort at IKN will provide the flexibility of the choices of people who want to live in IKN," he said.

In addition, Jokowi said, the Co-founder ofulant Estate Igor Maximov stated that IKN is the best location he has ever seen.

Thus, Jokowi hopes that this investment will show that investment opportunities in IKN are open to all parties.

"Because this (IKN) will become a global city, the archipelago will become an international city with all its facilities and we hope that more investors will carry out development groundbreaking," said Jokowi.

"By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, the construction of the Nusantara Resort this morning I declare that it will start," he added.
