Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution Normalize Bedera River, Unauthorized Buildings Will Be Demolished
MEDAN - Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution will normalize the Bedera River. Unauthorized buildings will be demolished.
Bobby Nasution first heard the explanation from the Head of the PKP2R Medan Benny Iskandar, the Head of the Public Works Service, Zulfansyah Ali Saputra, and the Head of the Sumatra II River Basin Agency (BWS), Maman Noprayamin.
After that, the Mayor of Medan, Bobby Nasution, and his entourage then combed the banks of the Bedera river, which is in the Bumi Asri housing complex.
Age of review, Zulfansyah explained that Medan Bedera River will be normalized because there has been a narrowing. The condition of the narrowing is said to have caused the area to be flooded after the rain fell.
"The 3.5 km that will be normalized is in a densely populated area. Earlier Mr. Wali (Bobby Nasution) asked whether there was a building permit located on the riverbank, Mr. Beny answered no. dismantle it yourself, if you don't want it, then there will be an order, "he said," said Zulfansyah.
Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution previously asked the heads of the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) and 21 sub-districts within the Medan City Government to realize the five priority programs.

Bobby Nasution instructed all OPD heads and sub-district heads to have a plan for their work, have the courage to carry out the execution and be ready to be evaluated.
"Make a good plan at work. Planning must begin with good and correct data collection, after that we must have the courage to execute and evaluate. This is the goal so that we can increase PAD for the welfare of the community," said President Joko Widodo's son-in-law.
