The Case Of A Travel Driver Who Was Killed By His Car Was Confiscated, The Jambi Police Hunted 3 Perpetrators
JAMBI - Police are still hunting for three suspected perpetrators involved in the murder of a travel driver from Tanjung Jabung Barat, Jambi. The victim's body was found in Musi Banyuasin (Muba), South Sumatra (Sumsel).
Director of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) Jambi Police Kombes Andri Ananta Yudhistira said a joint team from the Jambi Police, Musi Banyuasin Police, Tanjung Jabung Barat Police are still hunting for three suspected perpetrators.
"Still being hunted, please pray for him to be caught soon," he said in Jambi, Antara, Monday, September 23.
The three suspected perpetrators had the initials HS, a resident of Tulang Bawang, Lampung, then AT, a resident of Jambi and AL, a resident of Bayung Lencir, South Sumatra. The police also asked the three suspected perpetrators to surrender to the authorities. The three suspected perpetrators were identified after the police conducted a series of investigations.
After throwing the victim's body into Bayung Lencir, the alleged perpetrators fled and took the victim's car.
Previously, it was reported that a travel driver from Tanjung Jabung Barat named Matnur (48) was found dead in Bayung Lencir, Musi Banyuasin, South Sumatra.
The body of the travel driver has been autopsied by the police at Bhayangkara Jambi Hospital. The travel driver died not because he was burned or a sharp object.
The cause of death of the victim was due to a blockage of the nose and mouth and a snare on the neck and a fracture of the neck of six which caused a large blood vessel to break.
"The address on the nose and mouth uses duct tape, from rich to mouth of the victim which causes the victim to die and there is a snare on the neck," he said.
Andri confirmed that the travel driver who was found dead was not burned, it was just that the victim's body was found around the garbage burning site.
When viewed from the missing conditions and vehicles, Andri ensured that this case was categorized as confiscation or robbery. This is evidenced from the analysis results of several pieces of evidence that have been found.
Previously, on September 9, 2024, the Tanjabbar District Police reported a missing person reported by his family that he was missing because he had tried to contact him but the victim's cellphone was not active.
