Airlangga Said 87.9 Percent Of Local Government Implements Transaction Electronification

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said as many as 480 Regional Governments (Pemda) had succeeded in implementing comprehensive digital transaction electronification in their systems.

Airlangga conveyed that the implementation of Regional Government Transaction Electronification (ETPD) has increased every year. This is based on the results of the assessment of the Regional Government Transaction Electronification Index (IETPD) in the first semester of 2024 which shows that 87.9 percent or 480 local governments are at the Digital level.

The first is important for the development of the implementation of the Regional Government Transaction Electronic Policy (ETPD). It has been stated earlier, now it has reached 87.9 percent or 480 local governments, and of course this must be improved again," he said at the National Coordination Meeting for the Acceleration and Expansion of Regional Digitalization (P2DD) at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Monday, September 23.

Meanwhile, based on the index as many as 480 local governments are already at the digital level, 49 local governments are at the advanced level and 16 local governments are still at the developing level.

According to Airlangga, this achievement has exceeded the digital target of the 2024 Regional Digitalization Acceleration and Expansion Task Force (P2DD) which is 85 percent.

For 2025, the P2DD Task Force targets 100 percent of local governments to reach digital levels.

Airlangga explained that the increase in IETPD was in line with the increase in Regional Taxes and Regional Retribution (PDRD).

The development of the number of digital local governments nationally against the increase in PDRD is 7.91 percent on an annual basis or year on year (yoy).

Meanwhile, the regional government of Java-Bali has the highest percentage, namely 100 percent, Sumatra at 94 percent and Sulawesi at around 91 percent, Kalimantan at 75 percent and Nusa Tenggara, Maluku, Papua (Nusampua) at around 41 percent.

In addition, Airlangga said, the increase in TP2DD performance was reflected in an increase in participation and an increase in the average score of the TP2DD Champonships.

Airlangga explained that the number of local governments participating in the 2024 performance evaluation had increased 93.7 percent to 512 local governments.

A significant increase almost occurred in all areas except for the Nusa Tenggara region, Maluku, Papua (Nusampua) which was only 27.1 percent.

The performance of TP2DD and innovation compared to last year, the local government participating increased from 90.2 percent (2022) to 93.7 percent (2023). So 512 local governments have been. Then also the increase in the score is also relatively higher," he explained.
