137,495 North Penajam Paser 2024 Pilbup Voters Spread Across 293 TPS
A total of 137,495 voters registered in the final voter list (DPT) for regional head elections (Pilkada) 2024 North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province, spread over 293 polling stations (TPS) in 54 urban villages/villages.
"The results of the open plenary meeting of the recapitulation of the 2024 Pilkada DPT," said North Penajam Paser Regency General Election Commission (KPU) chairman Ali Yamin Ishak in Penajam, Friday, consisting of 70,725 male voters and 66,770 female voters in the four district sub-districts.
Voters who enter the DPT, according to Ali Yamin, can channel their voting rights for both the governor and deputy governor elections, as well as the election for regents and deputy regents on November 27, 2024.
Prior to the determination of the DPT, each sub-district electoral committee (PPK) submitted a report on the results of the plenary voter list while the results of the repair (DPSHP).
"We validate accurately for citizens who have voting rights according to the mechanisms and conditions set," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, September 22.
"So, the names listed in the DPT are residents who are believed to have the right to vote," he continued.
Compared to the DPT for the 2024 General Election with 134,383 voters recorded, the number of voters in the regional elections increased by 3,112 people.
"DPT Pilkada recorded 137,495 people and DPT elections recorded 134,383 people. So the Pilkada DPT has an additional 3,112 people," he said.

However, the number of polling stations in the 2024 Pilkada in North Penajam Paser Regency has decreased by 247 points compared to the number of polling stations in the general election, along with the policy of increasing the number of voters at the polling station.
The number of voters in the polling stations in the regional elections is 600 people, while the number of voters at the polling stations in the elections is around 300 people.
Thus, there was a reduction in the number of TPS from 540 points during the election to 293 points in the regional elections, said Ali Yamin Ishak.
