Golkar Has Deposited The Name Of The Ministerial Candidate To Prabowo
JAKARTA - Golkar Party politician Bambang Soesatyo alias Bamsoet said his party had deposited a number of names as ministerial candidates to fill the upcoming government cabinet.
He said the names were deposited by the General Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Bahlil Lahadalia, to the President-elect Prabowo Subianto.
"The names of ministers in Golkar have been included by the General Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Mr. Bahlil, to Pak Prabowo, only who will be elected later, just wait patiently," said Bamsoet as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, September 20.
However, he said the names had been prepared by his party since it was still led by Airlangga Hartarto as General Chair of the Golkar Party.
"What I knew when Pak Airlangga told me was that he was asked, when I was still with Pak Airlangga, he said that we had deposited a number of names," he said.
After the change of leadership, he continued, the names could be re-adjusted by Bahlil Lahadalia who was elected as General Chair of the Golkar Party replacing Airlangga.
"Of course with Mr. Bahlil there is an addition or correction, it could happen," he said.
He refused to reveal how many names his party had deposited to fill the cabinet seat of the upcoming Prabowo-Gibran government.
Bamsoet said he would only update the development of information related to this matter with Bahlil Lahadalia at the Golkar Party DPP Office on Friday night.
"I don't know, I haven't talked any further just today, this afternoon, I had a meeting with Mr. Bahlil at the Golkar Party DPP, Slipi will be at 19.00," he said.

Bamsoet said the discussion on the composition of the Prabowo-Gibran government cabinet was still being carried out, including among political parties that are members of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM).
"I also heard that discussions are still being carried out, both with the leaders of coalition political parties who are members of KIM and in Golkar itself," he added.
Bamsoet emphasized that determining the minister is fully the prerogative of the elected president.
"Regarding developments in the context of preparing a cabinet for the 2024-2029 period under the leadership of Mr. Prabowo, we are fully waiting for further developments," said the chairman of the MPR.
