6 Perpetrators Who Stabbed Student Udinus Semarang To Death Arrested By Police

Police officers arrested six perpetrators suspected of being involved in the stabbing incident that killed a student named Muhammadmen Nugroho on Kelud Street, Semarang City, Central Java, in the early hours of Tuesday, September 17.

Semarang City Police Chief Kombes Irwan Anwar said the perpetrators came from two different groups suspected of having fought.

The identities of the perpetrators were RS (23) residents of North Semarang, BRP (21) and RPP (20) residents of West Semarang, RHP (22) residents of South Semarang, BAS (22) residents of Candisari, and IBT (17) residents of Gunungpati, Semarang City.

"The perpetrators were arrested from several different locations, including those who had fled outside the area," he said in Semarang, Antara, Thursday, September 19.

He explained that the main actor in the stabbing incident was charged with Article 338 or Article 340 of the Criminal Code concerning murder. The other perpetrators were charged with the Emergency Law for possession of sharp weapons.

According to him, the Udinus Semarang student is suspected of being the victim of the wrong target of the two gangsters who will fight.

From various disclosures of inter-gangster brawl cases revealed by the police, he called this a juvenile delinquency that led to criminality.
