Being Imprisoned, Police End Investigation Of Yoo Ah In's Sexual Harassment Case

JAKARTA - The Yongsan police have ended the investigation into the alleged sexual harassment case that linked actor Yoo Ah In. They stated that there was insufficient evidence as the reason the investigation was not forwarded to the prosecutor's office.

In July, Seoul's Yongsan Police confirmed they received a complaint from a 30-year-old man who accused Yoo Ah In of the act. The man revealed that Yoo Ah In abused him on July 14 while he was sleeping in his apartment in the Yongsan area.

However, through his attorney, Park Jung Hyun, Yoo Ah In denied and confirmed that the allegations were not true.

"We are clarifying the allegations in the complaint are not true," said Park Jung Hyun on Friday, July 26.

The police also have no plans to open another investigation, given that there is no solid evidence to use.

Yoo Ah In was charged in October 2023 after using Propofol 181 times. He claimed the use was a treatment carried out at the hospital from September 2020 to March 2022.

He also bought 1,100 sleeping pills illegally using the names of other people 44 times from May 2022 to August 2022. The actor also bought drugs such as midazolam, ketamina, remimazolam, and zolpidem.

Currently, Yoo Ah In is in prison for a year for being proven to be using drugs.
