Sri Mulyani Asks Her Party To Evaluate The News Of The Leaked NPWP Data
Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati said that she had asked the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) and all parties of the Ministry of Finance to immediately conduct an evaluation regarding the alleged leak in the data on Taxpayer Basic Numbers (NPWP) and Population Identification Numbers (NIK) and others.
"I have asked the Director General of Taxes and all parties at the Ministry of Finance to evaluate the problem," he told the media crew, Thursday, September 19.
Sri Mulyani said that after conducting the examination, a press conference would immediately be held to explain in more detail regarding the issue of alleged leaked NPWP data.
"Later, the explanation will be conveyed by the Director General of Taxes (Suryo Utomo) and the IT team," he explained.
For information, the alleged leak of NPWP and NIK data was after the founder of the Indonesian Ethical Hacker Teguh Aprianto uploaded a screenshot of the Breach Forums site through the X @secgron account.
Teguh revealed that the data leaked included NIK, NPWP, addresses, cellphone numbers, emails and other data traded on the site by an account named Bjorka on September 18, 2024.

"A total of 6 million NPWP data are traded at a price of around Rp. 150 million. The leaked data includes NIK, NPWP, address, cellphone number, email and others," said Teguh in the account X @secgron.
In addition, Teguh conveyed that the leaked data also belonged to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Kaesang Pangarep, Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi, and Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati.
Then, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy, Minister of Religion (Menag) Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, Minister of Trade (Mendag) Zulkifli Hasan, and Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto.
