JAKARTA - Russia has extended the embargo on agricultural products from Western countries. The embargo extension is applied January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026
Quoting Tass, Thursday, September 19, the export import sector's decision was signed directly by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This is the first time the embargo rules have been extended in response to Russia's unfriendly actions from Western countries.
Food embargoes have been in effect in Russia since August 7, 2014. My defense for food products from the United States, EU, Australia, Norway, and Canada.
The list of products later became widespread and this embargo extension included other European countries, including Ukraine.
