Indonesian Bawaslu Attention To Administrative Research 6 Regions Have Single Candidates For The 2024 Pilkada

JAKARTA - The Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of the Republic of Indonesia pays attention to the administrative research process for the nomination of regional head requirements (cakada) in six single-term candidate areas, possibly increasing head and deputy regional head candidates.

Previously, Member of the Indonesian General Elections Commission (KPU) Idham Holik said that his party was conducting administrative verification and health checks for candidates who had just registered on September 11-14 and 16, 2024 for areas that could potentially have a single candidate.

The following is the area of the sole candidate who is conducting administrative research on the nomination document for regional head requirements:

1. KPU Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra: Candidate for regent: Masinton Pasaribu, Candidate for deputy regent: Mahmud Efendi, the proposing party: PDI Perjuangan and the Labor Party.

2. KPU Empat Lawang Regency, South Sumatra: Candidate Regent: Budi Antoni Aljufri, Candidate Deputy Regent: Heni Verawati, Proposal Party: PKB, PPP, Perindo, PKN, Hanura, Gelora and the Labor Party.

3. KPU East Lampung Regency, Lampung: Candidate for regent: M. Dawam Rahardjo, Candidate for deputy regent: Ketut Erawan, the proposing party: PDI Perjuangan.

4. KPU Manokwari Regency, Southwest Papua: Candidate Regent: Bernard Sefnat Boneftar, Candidate Deputy Regent: Eddy Waluyo, Proposal Party: Hanura Party, PKN, Garuda Party, Gelora Party, and Ummat Party.

5. KPU Kaimana Regency, West Papua: Candidate for regent: Hasan Achmad, Candidate for deputy regent: Isak Waryensi, Proposal Party: PAN, Labor Party, PKS, Perindo Party, and Ummat Party.

6. KPU Labuhan Batu Utara Regency, North Sumatra: Candidate Regent: Ahmad Rizal, Candidate Deputy Regent: Darno, Follow-up Party: PDI Perjuangan.
