Irfan Hakim Had Asked Kiai To Pray For His Daughter Before Competing At The 2024 Aceh PON

JAKARTA - Irfan Hakim could not hide his happiness over his daughter Aisha Hakim's achievement, namely gold in equestrian sports at the 2024 Aceh National Sports Week (PON).

Uniquely, before his son left to compete, Irfan said that he always asked for prayers from anyone and even held a special recitation for the success of his daughter.

"Not yet (given a gift), haven't prepared anything later. Actually, we really meet every time someone asks for prayers, I get to a special recitation at the pavilion for Aisha," said Irfan Hakim in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Tuesday, September 17.

Not only holding recitations, Irfan also asked for special prayers from the kiai so that his daughter could get the best in the competition.

"Let's ask for prayers from the kiai again, I like this asking for prayers to ask for a special prayer, 'for Aisha who is currently in PON'," said Irfan Hakim.

Not without reason, for Irfan Hakim, working hard without the blessing of his parents could be nothing.

"And thank God it's really strong, so it's not just a business, then prayers and parental blessing are also underlined," he said.
