SoundCloud Launches New Notification Features For Song Notifications And New Albums

JAKARTA - SoundCloud launched a new notification feature called Release Notifications, which aims to better connect artists and fans than ever before.

With this feature, later on, those of you who use SoundCloud will go directly through a notification, when the artist you follow releases a new song or album.

This new Release Notifications feature will allow you to adjust your experience by choosing to accept all notifications from artists you like and follow or disable them for certain artists.

If you're not sure, just select "Personalization" and we'll decide which notifications to send based on your engagement. You can change the preferences of your choice at any time," the company wrote in its official blog.

To enable Release Notifications, make sure your SoundCloud app has been updated to the latest version. Then, follow the following steps:

Release Notifications will be rolling out this week to all SoundCloud users worldwide on iOS and Android devices.
