Gerindra Chairman Says Rido's Winning Team Will Be Announced Tomorrow Wednesday

JAKARTA - The daily chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, said that the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono or Rido pair winning team will be announced in full tomorrow, Wednesday, September 18.

Dasco said this when the coalition of political parties that carried and supporters of Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (Rido) in the Jakarta regional elections held a meeting at the Senayan Court, Jakarta on Monday, September 16, yesterday.

The plan is that the names of the Rido Winning Team will be announced directly by Ridwan Kamil-Suswono as candidates for governor and deputy governor candidate for Jakarta.

Dasco said the team would contain a combination of names from various backgrounds. Currently, the composition of the Rido winning team is still in the finalization stage.

"Currently (the composition of the Rido Winning Team) is still in the finalization stage," said Dasco.

The chairman of the Rido Winning Team's Board of Trustees emphasized that timses will focus on field work. This, said Dasco, is in line with the spirit of Ridwan Kamil-Suswono who wants to present a solution to solve problems in Jakarta.

"We will rely more on field work," said Dasco.

Dasco explained that the field works will be carried out by all supporting parties and the Rido Pair. Including the elected council members who currently sit in the Jakarta DPRD.

According to the Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, the members of the council know better and understand the situation and conditions on the ground. Because they have fought in the legislative elections and managed to get votes from voters.

"We have conveyed several strategies and also several assignments to elected council members and political parties that are members of KIM Plus (United Coalition)," said Dasco.

Dasco said that later the Rido Winning Team and the joint supporting parties and the supporting parties will intensively meet to continue to coordinate in order to win Ridwan Kamil-Suswono. The target, said Dasco, is that the Rido pair can win one round in the Jakarta regional elections.

"Earlier, my friends targeted that (the Rido pair won one round). But, how will it be done later so that they can be beaten by friends," he concluded.
