House In Pinang, Tangerang City Was Burglarized, Money And Jewelry Worth Rp478 Million Lost
JAKARTA - A house in Pinang, Tangerang City, was burglarized on Saturday (14/9) night, which managed to get away with more than IDR 478 million worth of gold money and jewelry.
"It is suspected that there has been a criminal act of theft in the form of cash worth Rp. 200 million, along with 150 grams (24 carat) of gold worth Rp. 180 million, 20 grams of white gold bracelets worth Rp. 19.4 million, 25 grams of white gold necklaces worth Rp. 24.25 million, diamond bracelets worth Rp. 25 million, and diamond earrings worth Rp. 30 million," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi in his statement in Jakarta, Monday.
Ade said the incident took place on Saturday (14/9) but was only reported to the Polda Metro Jaya today at 05.05 WIB.
Ade explained that the incident began when the reporter with the initials DE and his family went on vacation to the Dieng area, Central Java. Then DE received a report from the household assistant with the initials NN that his house was burglarized.
The reporter who returned home at 09.00 WIB, found that the side door had been broken and damaged.

As it turned out, the assets stored in his house had disappeared. Due to this incident, DE suffered a loss of approximately Rp478 million more. DE then reported the incident to the Pinang Police for further investigation.
