Russian Caucasians Allegedly 'Jaking' Illegally To Mount Rinjani Lost, SAR Team Conducts Search
The joint SAR team is searching for foreign nationals (WNA) from Russia who went missing while climbing the Mount Rinjani National Park (TNGR) Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
"The search was carried out from the entrance to the climbing of Senaru Village, Bayan District, North Lombok," said Bayan Police Chief Iptu I Wayan Cipta Naya in North Lombok, Thursday, September 12, which was confiscated by Antara.
The Russian foreigner, Mordovina Alexandra (44), is suspected of leaving for an illegal climb to Mount Rinjani.
"This team will conduct a search for four days from September 12 to 15, 2024," he said.
The team departed for Mount Rinjani today and started from a trace at the entrance to the Mount Rinjani National Park on the Senaru Bayan Village route.

As for the search plans at locations of several points, including the Senaru-Plawangan Senaru Line (Radius 0-7KM), Pelanggan Senaru-Jalur Sangkareang (Radius + 2KM), Prawangan Senaru - Batu Ceper Line (Radius 2KM), and the Pangungan Senaru-Jalur Santong (Radius Uji3KM) route.
This incident is known that the victim is expected to climb on August 30, 2024, at around 04.00 WITA. The victim had informed his colleagues that he was climbing and chatting via WhatsApp.
With the formation of this team, the missing foreigner is expected to be found soon and a search team to be careful and maintain cohesiveness and communication to accelerate information in the search.
"If within 4 days the victim has not been found, we will conduct an evaluation, coordination and communication with related parties to collaborate in searching for the missing Russian citizen," he said.
The team that conducted the search from the Bayan Police, namely Bhabinkamtibmas, Banbisa, Senaru Village, Bayan Koramil, Rinjani National Park, three foreigners who were colleagues and accompanied by a guide and four poters.
