Wednesday Afternoon, BMKG: Medan, Jakarta, Bandung Rain And Denpasar Berawan

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in some areas of big cities in Indonesia will rain with light intensity on Wednesday, September 11 afternoon.

BMKG forecaster Sekar Anggraeni on BMKG Youtube said that starting from Sumatra, Pekanbaru City and Padang the weather has the potential for light rain, while Banda Aceh is predicted to be cloudy, and Medan is predicted to have moderate rain.

"It is necessary to be aware that the city of Tanjung Pinang will experience rain accompanied by lightning," he said.

Still in Sumatra, the cities of Bengkulu, Palembang, Pangkal Pinang and Lampung are forecasted for light rain, while Jambi City is predicted to rain with lightning

Turning to Java, the weather for the cities of Semarang and Surabaya is predicted to be cloudy, while the city of Yogyakarta has the potential to be cloudy.

"For the city of Jakarta, light rain is forecast, then Serang City is forecasted to rain with moderate intensity," he said.

He warned the people in the city of Bandung to be aware of rain accompanied by lightning.

Then, continuing to the islands of Bali and Nusa Tenggara, Kupang City is predicted to be cloudy, while Denpasar is predicted to be cloudy.

Furthermore, on the island of Kalimantan, for the Pontianak and Palangkaraya areas, light rain is predicted, while Tanjung Selor is forecasted for moderate rain.
