Pretrial Of PPK Officials In The Corruption Case Of The Mount Tunak Road Project Rejected By PN Praya NTB

The Praya District Court (PN) rejected the pretrial lawsuit filed by the suspect in the alleged corruption case of the road construction project to the Mount Tunak Nature Tourism Park (TWA), Pujut District, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

"The suspect's pretrial lawsuit with the initials S as the official commitment maker (PPK) in the project was rejected by the Praya District Court," said Head of the Special Investigation Section of the Central Lombok District Attorney Bratha Hariputra in Praya, Tuesday, September 10, as reported by Antara.

The trial of the pretrial decision which took place on Tuesday, September 10, was chaired by the panel of judges, Muhammad Kamil Ardiansyah and the clerk, Anas Munjirmalik.

According to him, with this decision, we will continue the legal process to complete the case file and then try it.

"Earlier at 13.00 WITA the verdict hearing and the pretrial results completely rejected and charged the court fees, this means that our pretrial was won (jaksa)," he said.

His party was reluctant to reveal whether the suspect would be immediately detained or not. However, what is clear is that with the decision from the Praya District Court, the Prosecutor's Office will also continue to work to be able to complete the case file.

"We will complete the suspect's files because all the witness examinations have been completed, so it's just a follow-up effort," he said.

He also said that his party was still not willing to explain in detail because his party was still focused on handling this one suspect.

"What is clear is that we are waiting for developments, other suspects will see developments and we will focus on this one first to complete various existing files," he said.

Previously, the Head of the Central Lombok Kejari, Nurintan Sirait, emphasized that the suspect as the PPK for the Mount Tunak TWA road construction project filed a pretrial, after previously the Prosecutor named him a suspect.

The Prosecutor's Office is currently naming S as a suspect, while the other, namely FS as the Director of PT Indomnie Utama and the implementer of the TWA Gunung Tunak road construction project and the initials MNR as the consultant for the road construction technique, are still limited to witnesses.

"We have just named S as a suspect and pretrial is being carried out," he said.

The construction of the TWA Gunung Tunak access road whose budget is sourced from the 2017 NTB Provincial Revised APBD is stated in the Budget Implementation Document for Amendments to the NTB Provincial PUPR Service of around Rp. 3 billion and state losses based on the results of the Inspectorate audit of more than Rp. 333 million.
