A Man In Batik Clothes Claims To Be A Police Officer For Banning The Crew Of A Student Demonstration Media At 2 Duren Sawit's PR School

JAKARTA - A man dressed in batik admitted that the police forbade media crews to cover a demonstration by a number of students at high school and Vocational School (PR) 2, Jalan AD Lampiri Raya, Pondok Kelapa Village, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, Tuesday, September 10, afternoon.

The man admitted that the police continued to rebuke the media crews so as not to cover the student demonstration. The prohibition occurred outside the school fence or in a public area.

"There's nothing to do. Don't take pictures, I'm gone. I'm also a member," said the man in a batik shirt while issuing a police KTA to reporters at the location.

According to information compiled, the man in the batik shirt is not an active police officer. He is known to be a retired member of the National Police with the last rank of Ipda and has served at the Duren Sawit Police.

It is known that SMA and Vocational School (PR) 2 students held demonstrations in the school field area. The demonstration was the result of a number of problems at the school which harmed the students.
