The Hajj Special Committee Calls There Are Conspiracys Related To The Departure Of Hajj Pilgrims
JAKARTA - Member of the Special Committee (Pansus) for Hajj Angket DPR Marwan Jafar assessed that there was a conspiracy regarding the quota for pilgrims in 2024 in the context of payments and hajj departures.
"So there are indeed conspiracys related to departures and also in the context of Hajj payments," said Marwan Jafar as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, September 9.
The DPR's Hajj Angket Special Committee is currently still holding an agenda for the General Opinion Meeting (RDPU) together with a special, regular, and additional Hajj quota verifier team for further questioning.
However, the meeting which was originally scheduled to be open had to be diverted to be held behind closed doors by the chairman of the trial, namely the chairman of the Hajj Special Committee who is also a member of the DPR from the Golkar faction, Nusron Wahid.
"This can be recorded, but closed, don't go out specifically," said Nusron Wahid.

According to him, today's trial is still a witness statement, so it does not need to be done openly.
Previously in giving information to the Hajj Anggat Special Committee, Marwan said that the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) had stated that the three thousands of special Hajj candidates were dispatched during the 2024 Hajj season due to the remaining quota.
According to Marwan, the Hajj Questionnaire Special Committee will examine the Ministry of Religion's mode of dispatching 3,503 special Hajj candidates with a waiting period of zero years.
