Kia Niro 2025 HEV & PHEV: Offer Maximum Fuel Efficiency
JAKARTA - The automotive brand from South Korea, Kia announced the prices of Niro Hybrid (HEV) and Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) for United States (US) consumers.
Each variant maintains a list of its many features, but some trim models in 2025 are added with the latest technology to improve its sophistication.
For the 2025 model, all trims have a pre-tensional system as a standard on rear seat belts. Then, Cold Weather Package was also presented which is now the standard feature in the PHEV SX Touring trim or one of the highest variants.
Launching from the brand's official website, Monday, September 9, a crossover with the HEV system is offered in five variants, namely LX, EX, EX Touring, SX, and SX Touring, which are priced from US$26,990 to US$35,390 (Rp416.9 million to Rp546.7 million).
Meanwhile, Niro with the PHEV system consists of two trims such as EX and SX Touring which are pegged for 34,490 US dollars to 40,790 US dollars (Rp 532.8 million to Rp630.1 million).
Niro 2025 models are offered with more than a dozen features to help drivers (ADAS), such as Anti-lock braking systems (ABS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Tire-Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Blind Spot Collision Warning with Parallel Exit, Lane Keeping Assist, Cruise Control, and others.

For the HEV version, Niro 2025 is equipped with a 1.6 liter Gasline Direct Injection (GDI) 4-cylinder engine capable of producing 105 ps of power and 144 Nm of torque combined with a Synchronous Magnetic Permanent Electric motor and a 15 Ah battery.
In collaboration with the transmission of six DCT accelerations, this car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour within 10.4 seconds and can speed up to a maximum speed of 165 km/hour.
Then, the PHEV version has a machine similar to the 105 ps power and a 144 Nm torque combined with an 84.3 ps electric motor and a 203 Nm torque and in collaboration with the transmission of six DCT accelerations.
Thus, the car can run from 0 to 100 km/hour in less than 10 seconds and cover the top speed of up to 168 km/hour.
Carrying a lithium-ion polymer battery of 11.1 kWh, Niro PHEV 2025 has the ability to drive with pure electric power as far as 33 miles or the equivalent of 53 km in one charge.
Both have fuel consumption that is efficient with HEV which is claimed to reach 22.5 km/l and PHEV up to 20.8 km/l according to EPA calculations.
