Elton John Experiences Vision Problems Due To Eye Infection

JAKARTA - Elton John through his official social media account reported that he had problems with his vision. This was caused by an infection in his eyes that occurred some time ago.

In the description uploaded on Instagram, the 77-year-old singer explained how her vision had problems, so she had to undergo a series of treatments to date.

"During the summer, I had a severe eye infection which unfortunately limited my vision to one eye," Elton John said in a written statement, Wednesday, September 4.

Recovery has been slow even though the Your Song singer has been treated for several weeks. It takes more time for his vision to return to normal.

"I'm recovering, but the process is very slow and takes time before vision returns to the affected eye. I am very grateful to the amazing team of doctors and nurses and my family who have treated me very well over the past few weeks," he said.

"I've spent the summer calmly recovering at home, and feeling positive about the progress I've made in my healing and recovery so far."

Hope for Elton John's recovery also came from world musicians through the comments column. They hope that the British music legend will soon recover from his vision problems.

"Get well soon," wrote Billy Joel in the comments column.

"We love you (heart emoji)," wrote Chappell Rosan.

Kay's bucket of love, me and the kids, wrote Davey Johnstone.
