Iranian President Pezeshkian Affirms His Government's Full Support For Palestine's Struggle

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said his government is ready to provide full support for the struggle of all oppressed countries in the world, particularly Palestinian resistance to Israeli occupation.

President Pezeshkian conveyed this at the Mujahideen International Conference in the ninth edition of Pengasin, which was held at the University of Damghan, Semnan Province on Tuesday.

"Since the beginning of my tenure in government, I have expressed my steadfast support for the Palestinian people and oppressed people around the world, highlighting my commitment to upholding their rights in all fields," he stressed.

President Pezeshkian reflected on Iran's legacy for nearly half a century, which has consistently fought for justice and global human rights advocacy.

He stressed, under the leadership of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, this mission will be carried out with strength and wisdom by his government as previously ruled.

It is known that the latest conflict in the Gaza Strip broke out on October 7, 2023, after Palestinian militants led by Hamas attacked the southern region of Israel.

About 1,200 people were killed and 250 others arrested as hostages as a result of the attack, according to Israeli calculations, as quoted by Reuters.

Israel retaliated by carrying out air and ground attack operations. Yesterday, medical sources confirmed that the death toll of Palestinians as a result of the Israeli attack had reached 40,819, while 94,291 people were injured, with the majority of the victims being women and children, quoted from WAFA.
