Cirebon District Court Completes Sending Saka Tatal's PK Files To The Supreme Court
JAKARTA - The Cirebon District Court (PN), West Java, has completed the delivery of the Review file (PK) from the Saka Tatal applicant to the Supreme Court (MA) related to the deaths of Vina and Eky that occurred in Cirebon in 2016.
"The file with Case Number 1/PID.PK/2024 Jo Number 16/Pidsus Anak/2016 on behalf of Saka Tatal has been sent to the Supreme Court on Friday (30/8)," said Cirebon District Court Spokesperson Arie Ferdian as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 3.
Arie said the PK file from Saka Tatal was sent electronically through the Case Tracking Information System (SIPP), according to the procedure regulated in the Supreme Court Decision Number 207/KMA/SK.AK2/X/2023.
Referring to this regulation, he said, PK files must be sent to the Supreme Court no later than 60 days after the application for legal action is received by the Cirebon District Court.
Arie explained that the Cirebon District Court had complied with all the provisions set by the Supreme Court in sending PK files, and it was confirmed that all documents had been uploaded safely and on time.
"The process of sending this file is part of our efforts to comply with all applicable legal procedures," he said.
He emphasized that the Cirebon District Court as a regional court does not have the authority after sending the PK file, because the next decision is in the hands of the Supreme Court.
Arie also emphasized that the results of the PK decision will be officially announced through the official SIPP website.
"When is the time, we don't know yet. That is entirely the authority of the Supreme Court which has the right to decide regarding the PK from the applicant (Saka Tatal)," he said.
This PK process is an important part of the judicial system that allows a review of court decisions that have permanent legal force.
