Suicide Bombers At Makassar Cathedral Are Husband And Wife, Just Married 6 Months
JAKARTA - The perpetrators of the suicide bombing in front of the Makassar Cathedral churchyard, South Sulawesi were two people. They are a married couple who have just been married for six months.
"It is true that the perpetrators are a husband and his wife, married for six months," said Head of Public Relations of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono in his statement, Monday, March 29.
As is known, after the suicide bombing, a photo of a man riding an automatic motorbike with a woman was circulating. The motorcycle with plate number DD 5984 MD looked destroyed.
According to Argo, the identity of the man was known as L while the woman, YSF, was a private worker. "Investigations are still being carried out, including uncovering other perpetrators," said Argo.

He said a number of places had been searched for other evidence. Including the perpetrator's house. "We are waiting for the results of the members' work in the field. We hope that everything can be revealed clearly," he said.
Argo revealed that the perpetrator was part of the JAD group that had carried out the bombing in Jolo, Philippines. "The perpetrator was affiliated with JAD," he said.
Meanwhile, the number of victims injured by the suicide bombings who are still being treated in a hospital is only 15 people. 13 of them were treated at Bhayangkara Makassar Hospital and 2 others at Siloam Hospital. "From the 19 injured victims, currently only 15 are left. 4 others are allowed to go home undergoing outpatient care," he concluded.
