Erick Thohir: SOE 2025 Dividend Target Increases To IDR 90 Trillion

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir revealed that the Ministry of SOEs received a dividend target for 2025 of IDR 90 trillion.

The target for this BUMN dividend is based on a decision at the DPR RI Budget Board (Banggar) meeting.

"I just got the information, apparently it has been knocked by Banggar for dividend 2025, we are targeted at IDR 90 trillion. So there is an increase from IDR 85 trillion to IDR 90 trillion, I think the figure is fantastic," Erick said in a working meeting with Commission VI of the DPR, at the DPR Building, Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Monday, September 2.

Erick said the target was quite large when compared to the ceiling obtained by the Ministry of SOEs for 2025 which amounted to Rp277 billion.

Therefore, Erick also asked for the blessing of Komis VI of the DPR to support the 2025 budget of IDR 66 trillion.

"We hope that there will be an additional proposal of around Rp. 66 billion, so that the figure will be Rp. 344 billion. Because none other than the Rp. 66 billion figure is too small compared to the achievements that have been pushed towards us," he said.

Regarding the 2025 budget ceiling, Erick said the allocation for salaries and allowances was 28.26 percent or above Rp. 78 billion. Then, for office operations as much as Rp. 71.62 billion, or around 25 percent.

"The secretariat budget that supports SOE development is IDR 47.35 billion or 17 percent and the development and supervision of SOEs which is one of the things that has been increased to IDR 80.09 billion, which is 28.86 percent," he explained.

On this occasion, Erick emphasized that the contribution of SOEs to the state was reflected in the total contribution from 2020 to 2023 which was valued at IDR 1,940 trillion.

"This is cumulative from 2020 to 2023 where the tax itself is Rp1,391.4 trillion, then PNBP and others Rp354.2 trillion, and dividends of Rp194.4 trillion," he said.
