Apple Launches Mac With M4 Chip In November 2024

JAKARTA - Apple is expected to announce a new Mac model equipped with an M4 series chip in November 2024, according to classified information obtained by MacRumors. A trusted source, familiar with the issue, said that Apple will release the new Mac model in November, marking the first time the launch month is confirmed for Macs with an upcoming M4 chip.

However, it is likely that Apple will hold an event in October to announce the new device cannot be ignored. Last year, Apple held a "Scary Fast" event on Tuesday, October 23, and launched a new MacBook Pro and iMac with the M3 chip on Monday, October 30. The new devices were released on Tuesday, November 7. Therefore, a similar scenario may occur this year.

Rumors show that Apple plans to launch four new Mac models with M4 series chips before the end of this year: a 14-inch entry-level MacBook Pro with an M4 chip, a new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro model with M4 Pro and M4 Max chips, a new iMac with an M4 chip, as well as a fully redesigned Mac mini with M4 and M4 Pro chips.

Except for the new mini Macs, these devices are expected to only experience a small increase, especially focusing on chip upgrades, but they may come with 16GB memory as standard for the first time. Some of these devices are now believed to have entered the mass production stage, which may be in line with launch plans in November.

The new Mac device is expected to retain a similar design to the previous model, focusing on improving performance and efficiency thanks to a stronger M4 series chip. Apple's official announcement is likely to come in the coming weeks, which will provide a clearer picture of the new specifications and features to offer
