Pramono-Rano Karno Promises Stadium For Persija
JAKARTA - The candidate for governor and deputy governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, promised the stadium for Persija Jakarta.
The couple wanted the Kemayoran tiger not to move from cage to cage.
"The field is certain, the hosts will not move. They used to move, right, later to Bekasi, later to Bantul, later to (where, ed.). Now for sure (there is a stadium)," Rano told reporters in Jakarta, Saturday, August 31, 2024.
Rano did not specify which stadium would be Persija's home. However, he stressed that this field matter is important so that the proud Jakarta football club can excel.

"How do you want to achieve it if the field just makes us confused where to go? That is the first foundation," he said.
This PDIP politician believes that the field problem for Persija can definitely be resolved when he and Pramono Anung are elected.
He once had this kind of experience when he served as Deputy Regent of Tangerang to Deputy Governor of Banten.
"I apologize, my experience in Banten Province. I brought Banten to the world level, the marching band. I once won a gold medal in Kerkrade, the Netherlands. Then we played in Indianapolis. Why? The identity icon is already attached," he said.
"So, if Persija already has a home base, I'm sure, the achievements will be different," said Rano.
