Aaliyah Massaid-Thariq Halilintar Examined 3.5 Hours Of 'Pregnancy' Slander Case, Dozens Of Questions Asked

JAKARTA - Aaliyah Massaid and Tariq Halilintar have been questioned as reporters and witnesses in the alleged defamation case 'Pil first'. Both were questioned for three and a half hours and dozens of questions were raised.

"The investigation began at 14.30 to 16.00 WIB," said Director of Special Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak to VOI, Friday, August 30.

During the examination, investigators asked Aaliyah Massaid about 23 questions. Meanwhile, for Thariq Halilintar there were 22 questions.

It was not conveyed in detail about what was being investigated by the husband and wife. However, the possibility of investigators seeking information about the origin of the alleged defamation as reported.

It is known, in that case, three social media accounts stated that Aaliyah and Tariq's marriage was due to pregnancy first.

"The examination is related to reports of alleged criminal acts of each person deliberately attacking the honor or good name of another person by accusing him of something," he said.

In addition, Ade also conveyed that not only Aaliyah Massaid and Tariq Halitas were examined today. However, there was one other satire who was also questioned.

However, it was not conveyed about the identity of the one witness in question.

"On the agenda of today's examination, one other witness was also examined," said Ade.

Aaliyah Massaid is known to have reported several social media accounts after being accused of being pregnant before getting married.

The Aaliyah Massaid report is registered with the number LP/B/4974/VIII/2024/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya.

In his report, Aaliyah explained that there were two Tiktok accounts and one YouTube that conveyed information that he was married to Tariq Halilintar because he was pregnant first.

In fact, until now Aaliyah has not been pregnant. So, the information was wrong and had harmed his reputation.

With this report, the reported party is suspected of violating Article 27 A in conjunction with Article 45 (4) and/or Article 310 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 311 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 315 of the Criminal Code.
