BNI Aims For Credit Growth Of Up To 12 Percent In 2024
JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) is targeting credit growth in the range of 10 to 12 percent by the end of 2024.
BBNI Finance Director, Novita Widya Anggraini said, this year his party is committed to maintaining the positive momentum of the company's performance.
"Looking at the still good loan demand, especially in the corporate segment and the potential for improving liquidity technicians in the second semester of 2024, we have started to increase our credit growth projection by 10-12 percent for 2024," said Novita in Public Expose, Friday, August 30.
Novita added that this growth will be supported by strong growth in the corporate and consumer segments as the main motor for BNI growth.
On the other hand, net interest margin (NIM) is projected to be at plus minus 4 percent. Then the development of this cost of fund, especially for the June-July period, is quite positive so that the company targets growth at the level of 4 percent and will be the same as the realization in the first semester.
"Then from the cost of credit side, we will maintain consistency in the range of 1 percent," continued Novita.
He added, until June 2024 BBNi managed to record credit growth to Rp727 trillion or grew 11.7 percent compared to the same period the previous year which was recorded at Rp650.8 trillion.
"For credit in the SME segment, we are still very selective and focused on improving asset quality to be ready to grow more accelerated in the coming year," he said.

Then the credit from the BBNI corporate segment grew 18.7 percent yoy to Rp403.1 trillion, mainly from corporations, both private and state-owned enterprises, and government institutions with low risk categories.
The consumer segment grew 15.7 percent yoy to Rp132.7 trillion, mainly contributed by growth in housing and also personal growth.
On the other hand, BBNI's NPL Net is in the 0.62 percent position while NPL Coverage is 298.2 percent and LAR Coverage is 47.9 percent.
