Supporters Of Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana Start Crowding KPU
JAKARTA - Supporters of the candidate pair for governor and prospective deputy governor candidate (readgub-bacawagub) DKI Jakarta from the independent route Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana began to flock to the DKI Jakarta KPU building.
The supporters who wore a white t-shirt with a photo of Dharma Pongrekun bearing the words "Prospective Governor of DKI Jakarta 2024-2029" began to arrive and stand in front of the DKI Jakarta KPU at around 17.35 WIB, Thursday, August 29.
Some supporters also wore blue t-shirts with a photo of Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana with a red background and it read "Come on DKI Jakarta Residents Let's Fight With Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana Abyoto Bacagub-Bacawagub DKI Jakarta" and "Save our Family Soul".
Meanwhile, the traffic flow around the DKI KPU office is guarded by the police, Satpol PP, and the DKI Transportation Agency to ensure that the area is safe and sterile during the event.
The police focus on guarding the entrance and exit of the KPUDKI Jakarta building during the registration of candidates for governor (cagub) and candidates for deputy governor (cawagub) in the DKI Jakarta Regional Head Election (Pilkada).
"We focus on guarding the entrance gate of the DKI KPU, the outside area, and in the DKI KPU during the registration of the 2024 Pilkada," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro.

Until now, traffic in the DKI Jakarta KPU area, Jalan Salemba Raya, Senen, Central Jakarta has not been closed. Vehicles are quite busy and can still pass by.
The candidate pair for governor and prospective deputy governor of DKI Jakarta from the independent route Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana registered for the Pilkada to the DKI KPU, Thursday.
"What is certain is the confirmation on the last day," said Chairman of the DKI KPU Wahyu Dinata.
Wahyu emphasized that the DKI Jakarta KPU will be open to anyone who wants to register for the DKI Regional Head Election which will be held on August 27-29.
"So whoever wants to be present tomorrow, including individual candidates, of course, we will open from 08.00 to 23.59 WIB," he said.
