Sleeping In A Hotel Without Paying, Ukrainian Citizens In Bali Deported
BADUNG - A male Ukrainian citizen with the initials IN (35 deported from the island of Bali because he often sneaks into a number of hotels to sleep without paying.
Head of the Denpasar Immigration Detention Center (Rudenim), Gede Dudy Duwita, said that this Ukrainian citizen violated Article 75 of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration.
"Immigration has the authority to carry out immigration administrative actions against foreigners who are in Indonesian territory who carry out dangerous activities and should be suspected of endangering security and public order or not respecting or disobeying statutory regulations," said Duwita, Wednesday, August 28.
This Ukrainian foreigner is known to have acted on February 26 and 27, 2024.
At that time he was found entering a hotel room in the South Kuta District, Badung Regency without permission. This foreigner also caused trouble in the beach area of the hotel.
After checking CCTV and monitoring the situation, the hotel security secured this Ukrainian Caucasian until it was finally handed over to the immigration team.

After going through a legal process and considering the violations committed, on August 27 after undergoing a total detention for 133 days, this foreigner was deported from Ngurah Rai Airport.
"The person concerned is also proposed to be included in the deterrence list of the Directorate General of Immigration. In accordance with Article 102 of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration, deterrence can be carried out for a maximum of six months and each time can be extended for a maximum of six months. However, a further deterrence decision will be decided by the Directorate General of Immigration by looking at and considering all of his cases," said Duwita.
